“Back to School” has arrived and quickly, life takes on its familiar routine…we’re back into traffic, short days, deteriorating weather and life by the school run and the clock.
With traffic bottlenecks, especially pre-and post school times and parking issues on the increase, if it’s a trip to the pharmacy that’s needed, our new pharmacy is conveniently on the edge of town.

Since opening in May, Whelehans Pharmacy Clonmore, our ample free parking, easy access (next to Old Rail Trail Carpark and NGS gym), low medicine prices and fast “no waiting” prescription service are proving popular. The Clonmore store opens from 8:30am to 6:30pm daily.
Pharmacist and owner, Eamonn Brady explains with a high percentage of the population within a 1 mile radius of the new pharmacy, especially around Greenpark, Ardleigh and Grange as well as those across the Joe Dolan Bridge, being families with school age children, it made sense to design the new facility around what the local population needed.

Eamonn also commented “At Clonmore, we provide a fantastic pharmacy service for families and local working people without them having to traipse into town. We offer over 20 free “family friendly” parking spaces right outside the door, so it’s really easy just to nip in whilst on the school runs….”
“An option which is proving popular at Clonmore is to drop in a prescription just after the morning school run………. We then text you when it’s ready and you can collect it whenever it suits you best. We can deliver too – for free. We have set up particularly to provide a fast, while you wait service…...with no queues, a huge hassle-free benefit, especially when seasonal shopping is in full swing in town.”

Whelehans Pharmacy Clonmore is located just off the Joe Dolan Bridge road and Newbrook Road roundabout in Mullingar Business Park (look for the large sign), right beside the start of the newly opened Old Rail Cycleway. We are located next door to the successful NGS gym and open daily from 8:30am to 6:30pm.
