Experience & Interests

I have worked in the Midlands for the last 20 years where I currently specialise in Outpatient and Orthopaedic Physiotherapy.

My expertise is broad ranging, however, my specific interests lie in the fields of Orthopaedic Medicine and Sports Injuries with particular emphasis in back and neck pain, Orthotics and Biomechanics and Medical Acupuncture.

I participate in regular CPD training and regularly mentor students and staff grade Physiotherapists helping them learn the art of accurate assessments and appropriate treatments.

I keep myself up to date with advances in Physiotherapy and educate myself in new treatment techniques, for example, Medical Acupuncture and Dry Needling, Kinesio- Taping, Orthotics and Manipulation techniques.

As a former Irish International 400m Hurdler with Irish national, British AAA and European medals. This has given me a broad insight into the importance of appropriate diagnosis and management of sports injuries.
