- They can receive their 2nd dose of the 2 dose course if they have already had their first dose elsewhere, however, this has to have been the Pfizer vaccine.
Full consent must be given by a parent / legal guardian prior to any vaccination being given.

It gives our vaccination team all the information they need to assess the young persons suitability for this vaccine. It also helps us keep the paperwork you need to complete during your vaccine appt. to a minimum, which speeds up the whole process greatly.
Once the criteria is met, the vaccine team will be in touch directly with an appt date and time. This may be by phone, text or email.
At the pharmacy, our aim is to have you in and out as quickly as possible, usually 20 mins or so The vaccine will be delivered by injection into the upper arm in the privacy of our vaccination suite.
As is the case with all medicines, vaccines may cause side effects. Not everyone gets side effects, however for those that do, most of these side effects are mild to moderate and short-term.
